Stopwatch+ simultaneously tracks the number of
occurrences and duration of up to 16 events that
you define. You can turn an event on or off by pressing
a single key, or you can hold the key down for the
duration of the event. Additionally, you can group
events together so that turning on one event in a
group will automatically turn off any other active
events in that group.
Sessions can be designed to end after a fixed length
of time, or you can end the session manually. If
you want to record an event at regular intervals,
Stopwatch+ can be programmed to beep at those intervals
as a reminder. Stopwatch+ also allows you to define
up to six customized data fields to record information
specific to your needs.
After entering the necessary settings to begin a
session, you can save the settings so that you can
simply load them into the program in future sessions.
When a session ends, you can save your data in a
new file, or add the data to an existing file. The
data are saved in comma-delimited files so that they
can be easily imported into a spreadsheet application.
Stopwatch+ comes with a complete manual in pdf
format detailing all of the features.

Installation Instructions
Stopwatch+ is designed to run on a Windows operating
system. The StopwatchInstall.zip file contains all
files necessary for installation, as well as a manual
in pdf format.
Important: If Stopwatch+ is already installed
on your computer, it is recommended that you remove
the existing version through the Windows Control
Panel prior to installing a new version.
Quick Start
Extract all files from StopwatchInstall.zip, and
run setup.exe. You can run Stopwatch+ from the Start
menu, under Programs.
Detailed Instructions
You should extract all of the files in StopwatchInstall.zip
to a temporary folder. If you double-click on the
zip file in Windows Explorer or File Manager, a utility
should start that will allow you to extract the files
to a folder of your choice. If not, you can download
a free zip utility, such as ZipCentral,
from the web. After extracting the files from the
zip file, run setup.exe to install Stopwatch+. Once
installed, you can start the program by clicking
Stopwatch+ from Programs on the Start menu. The files
that were extracted from the zip file can be deleted
after installation, although it is recommended that
you keep the manual available for reference.
If you find any bugs in Stopwatch+ or have any
suggestions for improvements, please contact Andrew Fischer at andrew.fischer@emory.edu.
